Qualifications
I graduated Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and later graduated from Pace University with a Masters of Business Administration in Finance while building a career in the municipal bond industry on Wall Street. My decision to become a financial advisor was motivated by my goal to educate and help clients with a better understanding of investments and to help me to build a business that I enjoy. Working for major financial institutions like Citicorp, The Bank of New York, and JP Morgan Chase, I maintained a consultative approach with my clients but believed I could better serve them in all aspects of financial, tax and estate planning issues by becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM . It was at that time, April 2016, upon completing the extensive CFP® requirements that I moved my practice to RBC Wealth Management to fully support my client's needs. I have passed the Series 7, 63, 65, 26 exams and hold my life and health insurance licenses.
Investment Philosophy
Effective investment portfolio management is a continuous process that involves understanding client needs and evaluating economic and market conditions. The first step is developing a strategic asset allocation model based on each client’s risk tolerance, time horizon and financial objectives. This baseline allocation model should be periodically reviewed and adjusted as the client’s financial situation changes. The next step is evaluating the current economic and market conditions, then tactically over-weighting or under-weighting specific asset classes to manage portfolio risk and capitalize on market opportunities.
